LEGAL ASSISTANCE
LEGAL SERVICES OF SOUTH Central Michigan - provides help with individuals and families dealing with eviction, landlord disputes, spousal abuse, SSI denials, and property tax foreclosure. LSSCM provides free legal assistance to low-income individuals and represents clients in divorce and custody cases; eviction from rental housing; home foreclosure cases; land contract forfeitures; and at administrative law hearings involving the denial of benefits from Social Security or the Department of Human Services. Providing local assistance at Community Action Agency on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. 1-888-251-1598
